Avigail Hurvitz-Prinz’s experience as an admissions professional began at her alma mater, Reed College, where she worked as a student intern in the admission office, giving tours and perfecting her backwards walk. After she received her B.A. in 2005 she joined the team of admission staff members, recruiting primarily in New England and the South. As an admission counselor, she interviewed students, read applications and was a part of application committee decisions.
Avigail moved to Brooklyn, New York in 2008 and began working at a Jewish non-profit called Hazon until she traveled to Israel for a year of learning the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies in August of 2010. This summer she worked as a college counselor at the Advanced Studies Program at the Saint Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire. She is happy to make Tel Aviv her home and to be back in Israel.
